Ultimate Fire Link is a well-known series of casino slot machines built around glowing fireballs and a row of jackpots. Each game in the series is named after a street. The demo on this page is Ultimate Fire Link China Street, the online version Light & Wonder released in 2022, and it is free to play here.
The game has 5 reels and 50 paylines, but most players come for one thing: the Fire Link Feature. Fireballs lock in place, the screen grows taller, and every new fireball resets your spins. There is also a free games round where you choose between more spins or bigger multipliers. Four jackpots sit on top.

How Ultimate Fire Link Works
The base game uses 5 reels and 4 rows with 50 paylines. A payline is a fixed path across the reels, and wins pay from left to right starting at reel 1. Bets on the online version run from 0.20 to 10 credits per spin. Regular line wins are usually small next to what the two features can pay.
Two special symbols matter most. Fireballs show a credit value or a jackpot name, and enough of them in one spin start the Fire Link Feature. The Free Games symbol is a scatter, which means it counts wherever it lands. Three of them pay 2 times your bet and open the free games menu.
The RTP, the share of all bets a slot pays back over time, is 95.97%. Volatility is rated medium to high. That means the base game can be quiet for a while, and much of what the game pays comes through the Fire Link Feature and the free games. Line wins alone are usually modest.
Ultimate Fire Link Bonus Features
Fire Link Feature
Four or more Fireballs in one spin lock in place and award 3 spins. Each new Fireball also locks and resets the count to 3. When the spins run out, you are paid the total of every locked Fireball.
Unlocking Rows
The feature starts with 4 of 8 rows active. As you collect Fireballs, more rows open above the reels, giving new Fireballs more places to land. The credit values and jackpots shown on the Fireballs rise as rows unlock.
Free Games
Three Free Games symbols let you choose one of five options. These run from 20 spins with 2x, 3x or 5x multipliers down to 5 spins with 10x, 15x or 25x. Fewer spins come with larger multipliers.
Jackpots
Some Fireballs carry a jackpot name instead of a credit value. There are four levels: Mini, Minor, Major and Mega. A jackpot Fireball that is locked when the Fire Link Feature ends pays that jackpot on top of the credit prizes.
More Ultimate Fire Link Versions to Play Free
River Walk, Rue Royale, Olvera Street and Country Lights are other streets in the same series. They change the theme and artwork while keeping the Fire Link Feature, the jackpots and free spins. The Cash Falls versions, By The Bay, China Street and Glacier Gold, combine Fire Link with the Cash Falls feature from another Light & Wonder series, so their reels behave differently. Ultimate Fire Link Explosion is a further spin on the format.
Good to Know Before You Play
- The free games choice is a trade between number of spins and multiplier size. Neither end is better on average; the fewer-spin options simply swing more.
- Three Fireballs in view do nothing. You need at least four in the same spin to start the Fire Link Feature.
- The online version has a small top bet of 10 credits per spin, far lower than many other online slots.
- All the street versions share the same Fire Link idea. The symbols and artwork change, and some details of the pay table can differ.
