Fire Strike is a Pragmatic Play slot from 2019 that looks like a classic Las Vegas machine, with sevens, bars, gems and flaming symbols on five reels. The demo on this page is the original Fire Strike and plays with free credits. It was made for online play and borrows the look of the old casino steppers.
There are no free spins here. The game is built around the Fire Strike symbol instead. Land six or more of them anywhere on the screen and you win an instant prize, and the prize grows quickly with each extra symbol. Fill the whole screen the right way and you reach the top prize of 25,000 times your bet.

How Fire Strike Works
Fire Strike has five reels, three rows and 10 fixed paylines. Regular wins pay from left to right when matching symbols land on a line. Bets run from 0.10 to 50 per spin. The wild symbol substitutes for the regular symbols, and it also counts as a Fire Strike symbol when the game adds up an instant prize.
The Fire Strike symbols work differently from everything else. They do not need to be on a payline or on neighboring reels. The game simply counts how many are in view when the reels stop. Six pay 1x your bet, and the ladder climbs through 2x, 8x, 25x, 50x, 150x, 500x, 1,000x and 2,500x up to 5,000x for fifteen.
The RTP is 96.5% in the top setting, and casinos can also run a 94.5% version. RTP is the share of all bets a slot pays back over a very long time. Volatility is rated medium to high. Volatility describes how often and how big a slot pays. Here most spins bring small line wins, and the larger prizes depend on the Fire Strike count.
Fire Strike Bonus Features
Fire Strike instant prizes
Six or more Fire Strike symbols anywhere in view pay a prize at once. Wild versions of the symbol count too. The prizes are 1x, 2x, 8x, 25x, 50x, 150x, 500x, 1,000x, 2,500x and 5,000x your bet for 6 through 15 symbols.
25,000x top prize
The maker lists the top prize as 25,000 times your bet. It needs all 15 positions filled with the jackpot version of the Fire Strike symbol. A full screen of mixed Fire Strike symbols pays 5,000 times the bet.
Wild symbol
The wild replaces regular symbols to complete line wins on the 10 paylines. It also takes part in the Fire Strike count, so a mix of plain and wild Fire Strike symbols still adds up toward an instant prize.
More Fire Strike Versions to Play Free
Fire Strike 2 is the sequel and is also playable here. It keeps the same layout of five reels and 10 paylines, the same instant prize ladder for six or more Fire Strike symbols, and the same 25,000x top prize. The listed RTP is 96.5%. The main change is a new look and a jazzier soundtrack, so if you enjoy one game you will be at home with the other.
Good to Know Before You Play
- There is no free spins round and no pick game. Everything happens on the main reels, which keeps the game easy to follow.
- You need at least six Fire Strike symbols for a prize. Five or fewer pay nothing on their own.
- The big steps on the prize ladder come late. Going from 11 symbols to 12 lifts the prize from 150x to 500x your bet.
- All 10 paylines are always active. You only choose the size of your total bet.
