Gems Gems Gems is a WMS slot, now part of the Light & Wonder catalog, that plays four sets of reels on every spin. The demo on this page is the online version and runs on free credits. One bet covers all four sets, so there is a lot to watch each time the reels stop.
The idea behind it is called Super Multi-Pay. One large reel set sits at the bottom of the screen and three smaller sets sit above it. Wilds and feature symbols that land on the large set are copied to the same positions on the small ones. A strong spin on the main reels can help all four sets at once.

How Gems Gems Gems Works
Each of the four reel sets has five reels, three rows and 20 paylines, for 80 paylines in total. All four spin together on a single bet. The minimum bet is 0.40 per spin, and the top limit is 80 or 200 depending on the casino. The symbols are gems and jewels, and wins pay from left to right on each set.
The main reel set is the one that matters most. When a wild lands there, it is copied to the same position on each of the three smaller sets before the wins are counted. Feature symbols are copied the same way. The smaller sets also spin their own symbols, so each set is paid on its own and the wins are added together.
The RTP is listed between 93.93% and 95.92%, depending on the version a casino runs. RTP is the share of all bets a slot pays back over a very long time. Volatility is rated medium to high. Volatility describes how often and how big a slot pays. Most of the larger wins here come from free spins with a high multiplier.
Gems Gems Gems Bonus Features
Super Multi-Pay
Four reel sets spin on every bet. Wild and feature symbols that land on the main reel set are copied to the same positions on the three smaller sets, so one good symbol can count four times.
Free Spins
Three feature symbols on a reel set award 10 free spins. The win multiplier depends on how many reel sets trigger in the same spin: 3x for one set, 6x for two sets, 9x for three sets and 12x for all four.
Retrigger
The feature and wild symbols stay on the reels during the free spins. Landing three or more feature symbols again awards another 10 free spins, played at the same multiplier as the round you are already in.
Good to Know Before You Play
- You cannot play fewer reel sets. Every spin covers all four sets and all 80 lines.
- Because feature symbols are copied from the main set, a trigger on the main reels can trigger the smaller sets too. That is how the higher multipliers come about.
- Wins are counted on each reel set separately and then added together into one total for the spin.
- The listed RTP differs by almost two points between versions of this game, so it may pay back less at one casino than at another.
