Reactoonz is a grid slot from Play’n GO, released in 2017. Instead of reels and paylines, it uses a seven-by-seven grid full of small aliens, and you win by landing clusters of five or more matching ones. The demo on this page is the original Reactoonz. There are no free spins. Everything happens through chain reactions. Winning aliens vanish, new ones fall in, and every win charges a meter called Quantum Leap. How Reactoonz Works
The grid is 7 symbols wide and 7 high. A win is a cluster of 5 or more matching symbols that touch each other side to side or up and down. Bigger clusters pay more. Bets run from 0.20 to 100 credits per spin. There are one-eyed aliens, which are the lower-paying symbols, and two-eyed aliens, which pay more.
After a win, the cluster is removed, the remaining symbols drop down and new ones fall in from above. This cascade repeats until no new cluster forms. Wilds replace any alien in a cluster, but they only appear through features. If four matching symbols land in a square, they merge into a Giantoonz, a double-size symbol that doubles any win it is part of.
The RTP, the share of all bets a slot pays back over time, is 96.51% in the standard version. Play’n GO also supplies lower settings of 94.51%, 91.49%, 87.50% and 84.51%, and the casino chooses. Volatility, meaning how often and how big a game pays, is high. The top win is 4,570 times the bet.
Reactoonz Bonus Features
Quantum Leap
Every winning symbol adds one point to the Quantum Leap meter. Each 25 points fill a section and add a random Quantum feature to the queue, up to four. The stored features are then released on the grid. A fifth charge calls the Gargantoon.
Quantum features
Implosion turns 3 to 6 symbols into wilds and destroys the symbols next to them. Incision cuts a wild into the center and draws two diagonal lines of one matching symbol. Demolition destroys all one-eyed aliens. Alteration changes one kind of one-eyed alien into another symbol.
Gargantoon
Charging the meter a fifth time adds a 3×3 wild to a random spot on the grid. With each cascade it moves and breaks up, first into two 2×2 wilds and finally into nine single wilds.
Instability and fluctuation
On a losing spin, Instability can add 4 to 8 wilds to the grid at random. Also, one low-paying alien is marked on every spin. If the marked symbol is part of a win, it leaves 2 wilds behind.
Giantoonz
When four of the same symbol land in a square, they join into one 2×2 Giantoonz. Any cluster win that includes a Giantoonz is paid at double value.

Good to Know Before You Play
