Stinkin’ Rich is an IGT slot machine that many players know from the casino floor, with its skunks and its 100 paylines. The demo that plays on this page is Stinkin’ Rich: Skunks Gone Wild, a newer version of the game. It keeps the theme and the two bonus names, and adds a random wilds feature.

This version uses a tall grid of 5 reels and 5 rows, again with 100 paylines. The two bonus rounds are Keys to Riches, which is the free spins, and Trash for Cash, which is a picking game. You can try all of it here for free on play-money credits.

How Stinkin' Rich Works

The grid is 5 reels by 5 rows, and there are 100 paylines. A payline is a fixed path across the reels, and wins pay from left to right starting at reel 1. With this many lines on a tall screen, a single spin often pays on several lines at once, though each line win may be small.

The skunk is the wild. It replaces all regular symbols, but not the Keys to Riches or Trash for Cash bonus symbols. Those two are the triggers for the bonus rounds. Keys to Riches symbols appear on reels 1, 2 and 3, and Trash for Cash symbols appear on reels 3, 4 and 5.

The top RTP setting is 96.14%. RTP is the share of all bets a slot pays back over a very long time. One review rates the volatility as medium, meaning a mix of regular small wins and less frequent bigger ones. The same review puts the largest possible win at 1,200 times the bet.

Stinkin' Rich Bonus Features

Random Wilds

On a spin that does not trigger a bonus, the game can turn up to 15 positions on reels 2, 3 and 4 into wild skunks. Positions that already hold a wild are not changed. The feature can also occur during free spins.

Top Award

If reels 2, 3 and 4 are completely filled with wilds, in the base game or in free spins, the game pays its Top Award in addition to all the line wins on that spin.

Keys to Riches Bonus (free spins)

Three or more Keys to Riches symbols on reels 1, 2 and 3 award 3 free spins for each triggering symbol. The round can be retriggered, and the rules allow up to 999 free spins in total.

Trash for Cash Bonus

Three Trash for Cash symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5 start a pick game. You lift trash can lids to move up a Stinkin’ meter and a Rich meter. A dollar sign awards the meter values and ends the round.

Good to Know Before You Play

  • This is not the original Stinkin’ Rich. It shares the theme and bonus names, but the grid, the random wilds and the pay table are different.
  • Free spins come in small batches. The usual trigger gives 9 spins, so retriggers matter a lot in this round.
  • The Random Wilds feature only touches the three middle reels. You still need matching symbols on reel 1 for a line to pay.
  • The 96.14% RTP is the highest setting. Casinos may run a lower one, so check the help screen where you play.
