Blood Suckers is a vampire slot from NetEnt and one of the best-known online slots for a single reason: its RTP is 98%, well above the usual figure. RTP is the share of all bets a slot pays back over time. The demo on this page is the original Blood Suckers, free to play on play-money credits with no download and no sign-up.
The reels are full of vampires, garlic, holy books and crossbows. The game is gentle by modern standards. Volatility, meaning how often and how big a game pays, is low, so wins tend to be small and regular. There are two bonus rounds: free spins with tripled wins, and a pick game where you open coffins and stake the vampires inside.

How Blood Suckers Works
Blood Suckers has 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 paylines. A payline is a path across the reels, and matching symbols along it from the left pay a prize. You can play 1 to 25 lines and choose from up to four bet levels. With all lines on, bets run from 0.25 to 50 credits per spin.
The wild shows a vampire biting a young woman. It replaces every symbol except the scatter and the bonus symbol. The scatter is the Vampire Bride. Scatters count anywhere on the reels. Three start the free spins, four also pay 25 times the bet, and five also pay 100 times the bet. The bonus symbol is a bloodied stake and hammer.
The 98% RTP is the published figure, though some listings note that it can differ from one jurisdiction to another. The most you can win is listed at 1,014 times the bet, and the largest line jackpot is 30,000 coins. Those numbers are modest next to newer high-volatility slots, which fits a game built around frequent small wins.
Blood Suckers Bonus Features
Free Spins
Three or more Vampire Bride scatters anywhere on the reels award 10 free spins, and wins in the round are tripled. Landing three more scatters during the free spins adds 10 more.
Bonus Game
Three or more stake-and-hammer symbols in a row on an active payline open a burial chamber full of coffins. Click a coffin to open it. Each vampire you find pays a coin prize. The round ends when you open an empty coffin.
Wild symbol
The biting vampire wild stands in for regular symbols to complete line wins. It does not replace the Vampire Bride scatter or the stake-and-hammer bonus symbol.
More Blood Suckers Versions to Play Free
Blood Suckers II is the sequel, also a 5-reel, 3-row game with 25 fixed lines. It adds Blood Rose Free Spins and a Hidden Treasure bonus game, with a top win of 1,298 times the stake. Its RTP is reported at 96.94% with medium volatility, so it gives up some of the original’s 98% return in exchange for newer graphics and more features.
Good to Know Before You Play
- The bonus game needs its symbols side by side on a payline you are playing. If you turn lines off, you also lower your chances of reaching it.
- Low volatility means your balance usually moves slowly in both directions. It is a calm game, not one built for large single wins.
- The published top win of 1,014 times the bet comes from the free spins, where prizes are tripled.
- Scatter prizes are based on your total bet. Four Vampire Brides pay 25 times the bet and five pay 100 times, on top of the free spins.

Blood Suckers FAQ
Can I play Blood Suckers for free?
Yes. The demo on this page runs on play-money credits. There is nothing to download and no sign-up. The credits have no cash value and cannot be cashed out, so you can try the game and its features without spending anything.
What is the RTP of Blood Suckers?
The published RTP is 98%, one of the highest among well-known online slots. Some listings note the figure can differ by jurisdiction. RTP is a long-term average over a very large number of spins and does not predict a single session.
How do you trigger the bonus in Blood Suckers?
There are two bonuses. Three or more Vampire Bride scatters anywhere award 10 free spins with tripled wins. Three or more stake-and-hammer symbols in a row on an active payline start the coffin-picking bonus game.
Why is Blood Suckers so well known?
Mostly because of its 98% RTP, which is higher than most online slots offer, paired with low volatility. That mix means frequent small wins and a slow-moving balance. It does not change the fact that results on any spin are random.
